ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Elisa Orrill

Elisa is currently attending the Business School at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs for a Bachelors in Business with an emphasis in Marketing. On campus Elisa participates in the professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. She has also competed in nationally and internationally competitive Winter Guards and Drum Corps.
Most of Elisa’s early childhood was spent in Anchorage Alaska, which created a great fondness for the outdoors. She spent the summers camping in the Alaskan wilderness and winters skiing down the slopes at Alyeska. Later on she moved to Colorado Springs with her family and continued on with her outdoor explotes. You can often find her hiking, sitting in a hammock with a good book or doing some yoga.
Mitchell Cockell
Mitchell is an avid outdoorsmen and loves all things to do with nature. He is into camping, mountain biking, overlanding, and hiking and is currently studying marketing at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs with the hopes of working in the outdoors industry when he graduates. Though he was born in Florida, Colorado has been home for him for the majority of his life.
Much of Mitchell’s time is spent outdoors on 2 or 4 wheels all across Colorado, though he spends much of his time in the local front range area hitting trails with friends or working with youth cycling clubs. Being native-ish, he has developed a good knowledge of all the outdoor activities the area has to offer. It’s not uncommon to run into him on the trails or at the local bike shop.

Claire Viland

Claire moved to Colorado Springs in 2005 from Oahu Hawaii, where she spent her childhood exploring the ocean, cliff diving and climbing imposing banyan trees. Adapting quickly to the dry, mile-high environment, she’s been hiking local trails in Colorado Springs for 12 years, always excited to see new scenery and wildlife.
When not out adventuring, Claire spends her time drawing, reading, and volunteering at her local animal shelter.
She is currently studying marketing at University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and, after graduating, aspires to work as a digital marketing specialist for animal shelters and national parks.
Brady Sterk
Brady is a hard-working native who has grown up learning to appreciate the outdoors. He is currently a full-time Business Administration student at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and is employed full-time. He is discovering the value of school through the direct correlation he sees in his work in the small business where is employed. He recently married his best friend Rebecca and is very happy with his life.
He is an amateur photographer and enjoys using nature as his focal point for art. He also enjoys spending time in nature to reflect on life and how wonderfully this world we live in was created. He loves to find the little details in life that bring beauty to light in a different way. Spending time with his family and friends bring value to his life and he wants to make sure he lives a life that creates value for others.

Paul Cartwright

Paul is a Business Student at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, who is currently majoring in marketing and international Business. He works part-time in the retail industry to pay for school and looks forward to graduating in the spring of 2018.
Paul gained his love for the outdoors through many years in the boy scouts going on many hiking and camping trips. He loves going on hikes during his free time and loves to find new places that are less well known to many people.
